Carlos Ottley.jpg

Carlito, the first child of Carlos Modesto Ottley and Mercedes Lambert Ottley, was born on December 13, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York. During his short life, he attained several awards for educational excellence (United Federation of Teachers, District 18th Scholarship Fund and the New York City Public School 235-Principal’s Award). Despite his prolonged illness with leukemia, Carlito attended Holy Innocent Catholic School and maintained a good grade-point average, before going on to serve God’s will. Carlito’s dream was to become a physician, specializing in Pediatric Oncology. Carlito was loved by everyone. His smile and gentle ways captured all our hearts. He was an excellent son, brother, and friend to all those who knew him. He was always willing to help others in need. Carlito was a great athlete, and excellent baker.

Throughout his suffering, Carlito maintained his faith in God. His life is a testament of tremendous strength and bravery in the face of true adversity. Carlito will always be remembered and admired for his courageous, yet gentle spirit

The Carlito's Wish Foundation introduces The Doris Brewster Education Fund (1).jpg

Mrs. Doris Brewster was an energetic lady, mother, grandmother, and friend with a caring heart. She opened her heart to the foundation from its inception. Her mother figure was always present. We were all her children. The doors of her house were always open for the foundation to coordinate monthly meetings and other gatherings. Mrs. Doris participated in every fundraiser and as many wish-granting activities as possible. She was an active member!

Mrs. Doris Brewster left us last year (2020) to be with her Maker and her beloved husband, Norris Brewster.
